Representation Schema For Design Rationale

Design rationale is important information for aircraft design and maintenance. The representation schema determines the methods used to capture and retrieve design rationale. Existing representation schemas for design rationale have been re-examined, which seem to violate the objective law of design process. Design Evolution Model (DEM) has been proposed to support capturing design rationale as a new representation which is more suitable for aircraft design.
