Light Hadron Spectroscopy at BESIII

The BESIII experiment at the BEPCII electron-positron collider is successfully operating since 2008 and has collected large data samples in the taucharm mass region, including the world's largest data samples at the J/psi and psi(2S) resonances. In particular their decays provide a rich and clean environment to study hadrons consisting of light quarks and to search for exotics. In this report, recent BESIII results of the light hadron physics program will be highlighted.
