Interrelation Of Different Tillage Intensities On Soil Structure, Biological Activity, Yield And Profit

Reducing production costs and protecting soil have acquired keyposition in modern agriculture. Within a long-term soil tillage research project at the University in Giessen since 1979 diverse ecological and economical advantages of conservation and no-tillage compared to conventional plough tillage have been found out. Results regarding investigations on agrotechnical aspects, on soil physical properties, biological activity yield and profit are presented.
