Abstract This chapter presents some of the most destructive pre- and postharvest fungal diseases of cherries, such as cherry leaf spot, shot-hole disease, brown rot, grey mould, anthracnose and Mucor rot, among others. Information on the factors influencing disease development and the efficacy of various strategies in disease control are also presented.
