The article deals with mathematical modeling of torsional vibration and sub movements of driving wheelset while driving on the railway with vertical inequalities. In the model of the driving wheelset are contemplated curved profiles of wheels tread. Drive wheelset is kinematic waking vertical inequalities of railway track, but also changeability of drive torque of the induction traction motor. The article points out the differences in the theoretical definition of relative slips and slip forces in model of individual, partially sprung drive of wheelset and in model fully spring loaded drive of wheelset.
