Abstract
Experiments are carried out with cylindrical liners in a wide range of initial parameters. The results an: compared with those based on theoretical considerations. The studies an: motivated by the fact that imploding liner plasma instabilities driven by an axial current are the most dangerous obstacle to compact liner implosion. Comparison with Saturn results confirms the validity of the authors' approach.
