摘要
Differential clinical diagnosis of pigmented skin lesions may be a difficult problem, even for experienced clinicians. One of the initiatives toward the development of a more reliable dermatological diagnosis tool is the application of spectroscopy techniques to study skin pathologies. We have applied visible-near-infrared diffuse reflectance spectroscopy to study different healthy skins and cutaneous pigmented lesions. Here we present the analysis of the spectra recorded (550-1000 nm) in both skin groups, from which a new set of features has been derived to discriminate among them.
