摘要
This study was carried out during autumn, 1995. Nine different nutrient solutions containing 100, 200 and 300 ppm of N and K in various combinations were tested on cucumbers (cv. Alara) grown in glasshouse in perlite.Nitrogen concentrations were found to influence plant growth, yield and fruit quality. The use of 300 ppm N decreased plant growth and total yield. Symptoms of powdery mildew were lowest at 200 ppm N+200 or 300 ppm K where yields were in general high.It was concluded that the N concentration of the nutrient solution should not be more than 200 ppm and the K concentration should be between 200-300 ppm for profitable cucumber production in perlite.
