Obstetric Outcomes Of Art Pregnancies In Women Aged 35 Years Or Over
16TH WORLD CONGRESS ON IN VITRO FERTILIZATION AND THE 5TH WORLD CONGRESS ON IN VITRO MATURATION(2011)
摘要
The study enrolled 418 women conceived by ART and 3,517 women conceived spontaneously aged 35 years or over, who delivered at our hospital from 2005 to 2010. The obstetrical complications were compared between two groups. The mean maternal age and the number of primiparous pregnancy were higher in ART than in spontaneous pregnancy. The incidence of premature birth (before 34 weeks of gestation), pregnancy induced hypertension, and placenta accreta were also significantly higher. The incidence of placenta accreta was significantly higher in women aged 40 years or over than in 35-39 years old among ART pregnancies. We conclude that it is imperative to consider these potentially devastating complications when ART pregnancies after age 35 are managed.
