Underfrequency Load Shedding With Variable Shedding Scheme

In this paper a method for estimating a power disturbance (deficit in power generation) is combined with variable shedding scheme approach. The resulting overall underfrequency load shedding is suitable for application of soft-computing methods, which can be used in variable shedding scheme optimization. Results of the simulation experiments are provided to illustrate the main principles of combined approach.
