Abstract
Jiangdong Bridge is a self-anchored suspension bridge with spatial cables. In order to investigate the structural system transformation, static and dynamic characteristics by model test, a total bridge test model was designed according to geometric scaled ration of 1:16 and force scaled ration of 1:4. In this paper, the model design, test system, research method and main test results are introduced. The results show that the model test really reflects the mechanical properties of the real bridge. The test results are in good agreement with the calculated results.
