Abstract
The present article aimed to characterize the religious profile and an important attribution of medical students of the University of Maturity (UMA). A cross-sectionalstudy wos carried out with 27 participants from April and May 2018, at Campus de Palmas, TO. Among those evaluated, 63% were Catholics and 37% were evangelicals. They noticed the majority of the elderly Catholics and evangelicals of the feminine, widowed, educated, without vices related to the smoke and the alcoholic drink Regarding satisfaction with religion, 92.6%is important and, it was found that women give more importance to religion than men (p = 0.024). Looking or the biopsychosocial faces of the elderly is important so that the professional can be used and integrated in the context of their professional practice.
