摘要

•Methylene blue (MB) is used as the photosensitizing agent for photodynamic therapy PDT.•MB binds to melanin.•We investigated the ability of MB combined with PDT (MB-PDT) to induce cell death in murine melanoma B16-F10.•MB-PDT decreased cell viability of B16-F10 melanoma cells in a drug- and light-dose dependent manner.
