摘要
This paper identifies the importance of considering the full-order virtual synchronous machine (VSM) dynamics while tuning parameters in its cascaded voltage and current control loops. Via a numerical example, we highlight that the conventional tuning method of the voltage and current loops may not ensure system stability. This is because the tuning method does not consider full-order system dynamics. Thus, we improve the tuning method for the VSM voltage and current loops using small-signal analysis of the full-order VSM model. The proposed tuning method ensures system stability in the small-signal sense, and it is computationally inexpensive. We verify the effectiveness of the proposed tuning method via numerical simulations.
