Economic Impact And SafetY of Same-Day Discharge Following Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Tertiary-Care Centre Experience From Northern India (EASY-SDD)

•683 consecutive percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) patients were assessed for eligibility for same-day discharge (SDD).•The safety and efficacy of 132 SDD and 485 next-day discharge (NDD) patients were assessed.•There were no safety concerns for SDD during 6 weeks of follow-up.•An amount of US$ 506.50 was saved per SDD patient.•100 cardiac unit bed days including 85 intensive cardiac care bed days were saved with SDD.
