Dr. Olga Jonasson: A Pioneer for Women in Surgery

The advancement of women in surgery has seen tremendous progress over the past century. Among the many physicians who paved the way for women in surgery is Dr. Olga Jonasson, a Chicago-based transplant surgeon who performed the first kidney transplantation in the state of Illinois in 1969.
