Abstract
In order to meet the strong demand of unmanned combat system for small inertial devices, the miniaturization of optical path of fiber optic gyroscope is studied in this paper. In this paper, the way to realize the miniaturization of optical path of fiber optic gyroscope is introduced, and then a small optical path is designed under the condition of discrete devices. Through MATLAB simulation, the objective function and constraint conditions of coil optimization are set, and the MOPSO algorithm is used to solve the problem, and the actual parameters of fiber optic coil are determined. The size of the discrete device FOG is only 35mmx50mmx37mm, which is about 20% smaller than the smallest commercial F50 FOG in the market, and its cost and accuracy are better than those of F50 FOG. Finally, the calculation and simulation are carried out. The simulation and experiment show that the design can realize the miniaturization of optical path, and the precision can meet the requirements of tactical gyro. This design provides a certain reference value for the miniaturization of optical path of fiber optic gyroscope.
