摘要
Fetal interventions are procedures that are performed during gestation to correct abnormal fetal anatomy or physiology that would otherwise be associated with a significant risk of neonatal morbidity or mortality. However, they are associated with substantial risk to the fetus and mother, who is an innocent bystander because she does not derive any direct benefit from the procedure. To minimize this risk, these procedures require multidisciplinary preoperative assessment and perioperative management.
