•This review summarizes findings of PFAS effects on infant and child immune health.•In utero, infant, and early childhood PFAS exposures were examined.•Strong evidence of PFAS exposure on diminished childhood antibody vaccination response.•Moderate evidence of PFAS exposure on increased risk of childhood infectious diseases.•Limited evidence of PFAS exposure on allergic reactions, atopic dermatitis, asthma.
