The relationship between the care burden and quality of life of parents who have children with hematological problems and their perceived social support

•In this study, in which the care burden, social support perceptions and quality of life of the parents were examined, it was observed that parents' perceptions of social support had a positive effect on their quality of life.•It was determined that the social support perceptions of the parents have a negative effect on their care burden.•In addition, it was found that the care burden of parents has a negative effect on their quality of life.
