摘要
•Analytical scale high-throughput screening plus identification developed for 44 medicinal plants.•Piezoelectric spraying of planar acetyl- and butyrylcholinesterase assays was advantageous.•Achieved homogenous plate background was favorable for quantitation via the autogram.•Solvent and reagent consumption were low due to simultaneous development on both plate sides.•Straightforward procedure to detect and identify the most active medicinal plant candidates.
