Radiofrequency neurotomy, also known as radiofrequency ablation (RFA), is an established therapy for patients with axial spine and large joint pain. Although multiple randomized controlled trials have been previously published, payers continue to deny access to radiofrequency neurotomy.1-3 Here, we assess the outcomes of patients treated with RFA for chronic pain as part of a large, prospective, multicenter international study.
