•Patients with stage 3B EC have worst overall survival of all stage 3 disease.•Stage 3B patients receive less adjuvant chemotherapy and more adjuvant radiation alone than other stage 3 patients.•Stage 3B patients who received both adjuvant chemotherapy and radiation had improved overall survival.
