Macular Hole As A Complication Following Laser Photocoagulation For Retinopathy Of Prematurity
OPHTHALMIC SURGERY LASERS & IMAGING RETINA(2021)
摘要
Complications after laser photocoagulation for retinopathy of prematurity (ROP) are rare but do occur. To the best of our knowledge, we report a previously unreported case of a unilateral macular hole that developed after resolution of an exudative retinal detachment that resulted from laser photocoagulation for ROP. Confluent laser patterns in ROP in infants who have previously received intravitreal anti-vascular endothelial growth factor may result in adverse outcomes such as exudative retinal detachments. Even more rarely, a macular hole may develop.
