•Erosive adenomatosis of the nipple (EAN) is a rare benign neoplasm of the breast.•Clinically, it should always be discussed with malignant nipple tumours including Paget's disease•Surgery (nipple resection) is the cornerstone of the management•Tissue sparing techniques are advocated for women of childbearing age•The prognosis is excellent.
