Disclosed is a force application device (100, 401) for orthodontics, which is elastically stretchable and uses the return force generated by compression to provide an orthodontic force for orthodontics. The force application device (100, 401) for orthodontics comprises a first element (105) and a second element (101) which can move towards each other along a first axis, wherein when the first element (105) and the second element (101) move towards each other along the first axis, the force application device (100, 401) for orthodontics is compressed; and at least one of the first element (105) and the second element (101) is provided with scale marks (113, 115) for indicating the magnitude of the return force generated by compressing the force application device (100, 401) for orthodontics.
