Recognition And Management Of Acute And Late Complications Of Pneumonectomy Clinical Cases And Treatment

Pneumonectomy remains an important part of the armamentarium of thoracic surgeons. Because of the enormous changes in anatomy and physiology, complications remain substantial. This article reviews some of the more important and challenging problems seen. It is hoped that awareness of these complications may diminish their frequency and allow early recognition and optimal management when they do occur.
