Abstract
The cellular and molecular mechanisms associated to EZH2 pathway in airway epithelial cells cultured in a 3D in vitro model of air liquid interface culture (ALI culture) and chronically exposed to PBDEs. PBDEs affects the methyl transferase EZH2 expression promoting key mechanism in the control of H3K27me3 activity, DAB2IP onco-suppressor mRNA transcription, K-RAS/ERK1/2 pathway activation, and let-7a, MUC5AC, MUC5AB and IL-8 mRNA transcription and cell invasiveness in lung diseases. These mechanisms are well controlled via a pharmacological approach with Gsk324 (specific inhibitor of EZH2)Unlabelled Image
