摘要

ITK is highly activated in patients with ulcerative colitis only and cyclosporine-A suppresses ITK activity. Therapeutic modulation of the cyclosporine-A target ITK might be helpful for optimized therapy in ulcerative colitis, as inactivation of ITK leads to resolution of intestinal mucosal inflammation.
