Abstract
The silicon-based photoelectric conversion devices with P-N junctions are designed to trap and convert photons into electric current. In this work, we report the photocurrent generated at the liquid-silicon-liquid system under high-frequency intensity modulated light illumination. The system exhibits stable and repeatable characteristics with quick response to light, and the photocurrent amplitude dependents on solution concentration, light power and light modulation frequency. Additionally, possible photocurrent generation mechanisms are also discussed that the ionic photocurrent is attributed to modulated light to SPV and electrochemical reaction.
