Solubility of mono-alkyl magnesium complex in pure and binary solvents: Measurement, correlation, thermodynamics from 268.15 K to 318.15 K

•Solubility of LMgBu in selected pure solvents and binary solvents was measured.•Six thermodynamic models were applied for correlating the experimental solubility data.•The apparent thermodynamic properties of dissolution process were calculated.•The enthalpy-entropy compensation analysis was calculated.
