摘要
Polyethylene glycol modified graphene oxide (PEG-GO) will greatly improve the properties of tricalcium silicate containing vaterite (V-C3S) including compressive strength, in vitro mineralization ability, and cell compatibility and so on. Composite bone cement can improve some defects of calcium silicate biological bone material such as poor mechanical properties and lower cell activity. The results show that PEG-GO/V-C3S has satisfying curing ability, mechanical properties and high injectability. The compressive strength of composite bone cement has been improved significantly (35.24 % higher than that of pure V-C3S) and the pH environment is also better, so V-C3S containing 0.9 g/1 PEG-GO has better performance. Its extraordinary mineralization ability can be reflected in vitro immersion experiments. Cell experiments confirmed that compared with V-C3S and GO/V-C3S, it has lower cytotoxicity and higher cell proliferation ability. These results show that PEG-GO/V-C3S bone cement is a up-and coming material for biomaterials.
