Alterations in Taenia crassiceps cysticerci cytoskeleton induced by nitazoxanide and flubendazole

•NTZ isolated treatment induced an increase in α and β-tubulin.•FLB isolated treatment induced an increase in α-tubulin and a decrease in β-tubulin.•The drugs combination exposure induced an increase in actin and β-tubulin detection.•The drugs combination exposure resulted in morphological alterations of the parasite`s tegument.
