Abstract
•Interaction of ADRA2A rs553668 and SLC6A4 rs6354 was significantly associated with the risk of ADHD.•The gene-gene interaction enhanced the power for ADHD susceptibility.•The unfavorable alleles of ADRA2A rs553668 G, DRD2 rs1124491 G and SLC6A4 rs6354 G showed a cumulative effect for ADHD.
