Abstract
•Photothermal therapy and chemotherapy have been simultaneous applied.•The dual pH/temperature responsive nanofibrous formulation was synthesized.•Poly (tetramethylene ether) glycol based polyurethane/chitosan nanofibers were fabricated.•Paclitaxel and graphene oxide/gold nanorods were simultaneously loaded into fibers.•Laser irradiation resulted in accelerating of paclitaxel release of from nanofibers.•Maximum cytotoxicity against A549 lung cancer was 85% using photo/chemotherapy.
