Abstract
Internet of Things technology is one of the modern technologies in this era, as it saves time and effort. The Internet of Things technology made a quantum leap in human life, and its importance appeared in our daily life. This study aims to develop a smart heater system with high performance and low cost. The smart heater system is based on the ESP8266 nodeMCU open-source controller programmed with open-source Home Assistant software connected to DHT11 Temperature and Humidity Sensor. The Raspberry Pi has been connected to the ESP8266 nodeMCU, which acts as a cloud server that displayed all smartphone application measurements. The user can remotely control the heating system and control the task scheduling using the smartphone application, which was designed using Android Studio. The smart heater connection was established via Wi-Fi technology. In this study, the Smart heating system is controlled remotely via a Smartphone application, which reduces the fire phenomenon. The smart heater system will provide safety, reduce costs, enhance performance and useability.
