Anhedonia is a transdiagnostic symptom characterized by the inability to feel motivation for, or pleasure from rewarding experiences. Subcortical networks are broadly implicated in the pathophysiology of anhedonia though no research to date has examined relations between volumes of subcortical structures, anhedonia severity, and reward-oriented behaviors.
