FaecaI Incontinence (FI) affects over 5% of women worldwide (1) with obstetrical injury being one of the most important causes (2). Sphincteroplasty (SP) is one of the surgical techniques described to repair this injury. This specific procedure has been associated with good short-term outcomes, although the association with other treatments, such as sacral neurostimulation, may be needed (3).
