摘要
Hyperkalemia (HK), defined as serum potassium (sK+) >5.0 mmol/L, is a potentially life-threatening condition resulting from dysfunctional K+ homeostasis or use of medications such as renin-angiotensin aldosterone system inhibitors (RAASi). Patients with CKD are at higher risk of HK, yet pharmacological management with regards to RAASi and treatment of HK remains suboptimal and rarely used. This real-world study describes treatment patterns in patients with CKD and HK across geographies.
