Automatic Fire Monitoring System In Textile Industry

Over the previous decades, the textile industry is playing a leading role in the Bangladesh economy. Currently, it is the largest revenue source in our country. We left behind many developing countries in this sector, such as India, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Every year many workers in the textile industry lose their lives and livelihood due to fire accidents. To detect a fire before it spread out, our country's factory owners mostly use manual fire detection system. We cannot use existing modern fire monitoring systems in our factories, since they use various wireless technologies, such as Wi-Fi, GSM which require additional infrastructure for the application in a factory. In this paper, we propose an automated fire monitoring system that transfers data using nRF24L01. nRF24L01 module makes our device suitable for industry since it can send data to long range and does not require additional infrastructure for application. To evaluate our device, we collect data from different textile industry sections and analyze the sensor data.
