Peripheral blood B cell subset ratios and expression levels of B cell-associated genes are altered in benign multiple sclerosis
Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders(2021)
Abstract
•Sleep and cognitive functions are equally impaired in benign (BMS) and non-benign MS (NBMS).•Memory B cells are reduced and regulatory B cells are increased in BMS.•NBMS patients showed reduced expression levels of B-cell related genes BLK and FCRL2.•B-cell related genes FCRL2, BLNK, BLK and BANK1 correlated with measures of disability.
