Workshop: Data Science with Julia

Julia is one of the most widely used languages by the scientific community today, intending to develop applications where exhaustive numerical computation is required. The main reason for such use lies in the combination of four aspects: the ease and dynamism of Python together with the speed and efficiency of C. For this reason, Julia has become a trend to provide solutions for large-scale applications in scientific computing, data science, and artificial intelligence. In this workshop, an introduction to its syntax will be presented and some of its features will be evaluated for the implementation of solutions within the aforementioned areas.
