Relaciones públicas para los necesarios cambios socioeconómicos1

The work develops a reflective study on the role of public relations for the social, economic andcultural changes that we are experiencing in the world. From a practical philosophy, a qualitativemethod is used, supported by a bibliographic review. This leads to an analysis and discussion aboutthe public relations situation and its future social role. The paper discusses the sociocultural functionof public relations in contemporary societies and its role in the face of new horizons. However, thenew communication strategies must focus on all the stakeholders involved in the economic and socialprocesses conditioned by Covid-19, by climate change and by other alterations that can reorder livingconditions.
