Myricetin is a natural flavonoid majorly present in fruits like apple, grapes, berries, vegetable, and medicinal plants. It has been investigated against various pharmaceutical applications in preclinical models like for cancer, gastroprotective efficacy and mainly for neurodegenerative disorders. Further from the evidences of clinical findings, myricetin reduces the risk of diabetes-associated kidney injuries and to reduce oxidative stress related to diabetes mellitus, so being an exceedingly pleiotropic nature, this molecule may regulate various preclinical and clinical benefits as a therapeutic compound.
