Stilbene oligomers from the stems of Parthenocissus tricuspidata and their potential anti-neuroinflammatory and neuroprotective activity

•A new stilbene trimer and 13 known stilbenes were isolated and characterized.•The structures were elucidated by spectroscopic data and computational method.•Compounds 2, 5, 6, and 10-12 significantly inhibited LPS- stimulated NO production.
