Abstract
•HPLC fingerprints of single species and full samples were separately developed.•UV–Vis spectra showed there were three peaks in Huangyujin and one in others.•Discrimination models were respectively established based on the two techniques.•Quantification models based on UV–Vis spectra were used to determine three compounds.
