Abstract
This paper presents Hybrid power source for electric scooter supply,powered principally by fuel cells (PEMFC). and the lithium ion battery,to enhance the electric scooter supply in the weak points such as scooter acceleration phase, at constant speed moment. breaking phase's and also during the power supply for fuel cell start-up in order to minimize the power of stress on the principal source and also as a storage bank in the case of energy recovery to rise the autonomy of the scooter. The electric traction chain is simply composed of a fuel cells (PEMFC),BLDC motor, lithium ion battery, and DC-DC converteres.The electric scooter as Load is represented as resistives torques applied on the propulsion system. The Hybrid power source system was achieved in the software Matlab/Simulink. The results obtained by simulation show interesting accomplishment.
