摘要

•The first genome-wide characterization of AP2/ERF superfamily was conducted in jute.•119 APETALA2/Ethylene-Responsive Factors (AP2/ERF) genes were identified in jute.•Three tandem and eight segmental duplications events occurred in CoAP2/ERF genes.•CoERF-21, 34 and 39 genes showed positive regulation in waterlogging stress.
