摘要
•Synthesis of (Sr2Ta2O7)100−x(La2Ti2O7)x ceramics with composition x between 0 and 3.•Dielectric characterization (permittivity, dielectric loss) from 10 kHz to 20 GHz.•Moderate permittivity (<100) and low dielectric loss (<8 × 10−3) at 2 GHz for x < 1.•Simulation, realization and measurement of a compact dielectric resonator antenna.•Bandwidth of 4.9% and a gain of 6.4 dB are obtained at the frequency of 5.80 GHz.
