Translation Strategies of Long and Difficult Sentences in English Linguistics Academic Works under Big Data Environment

The arrival of the era of big data has brought tremendous changes to people's life, work and study. International academic exchanges are increasingly showing their important position, and academic translation has assumed this important task. The translation of long and difficult sentences in English linguistics academic works has always been an important difficulty in English linguistics. Based on the big data environment, this paper issues questionnaires to English majors in a certain university, and investigates and analyzes the problems and status quo in the translation of long and difficult sentences in English linguistics academic works. According to the analysis, 86.5% of the students are facing the problem of inaccurate grasp of highly professional articles; 60.8% of students faced the problem that the translation content expression is complete, but not smooth, and put forward related translation strategies.
